Discover O’Hare International Airport in Chicago
O’Hare International Airport is located on the northwest side of Chicago, Illinois.  This important hub for American and United Airlines became operational in 1955. But why is this International Airport famous?  Not only because it was the first significant airport planned after World War II but also because of its innovative design.
It pioneered airport structure concepts like concourses, jet bridges, direct highway access to the terminal, and underground refueling systems.
It has served over 228 destinations in North and South America, Africa, Asia, Europe, and Oceania.  And as of 2019, O’Hare Airport is the fourth world’s busiest airport, according to CNBC.
United Airlines and American Airlines use this airport as a significant hub with direct flights to almost 200 global destinations.
World’s Fourth Busiest Airport
